These are the basic properties of registered data sources. You can access them from the data source pane.
Dialog items description:
- Data source name - The data source name. BitKinex must be able to identify the data sources by their type, name and some other important properties (server address, login name). The choice of the name has to adhere to these rules therefore, duplicate definitions cannot be created.
- Default directory - This directory will be selected in the browse window immediately after a successful login.
- Description - Use this field to store a short description of the server.
- Read only - Use this option to prevent important data sources from being accidentally removed or renamed.
