These properties are related to the "My Computer" data source representing the local machine. You can access them from the data source pane.

- Number of threads used - Select the number of requests which can be processed in parallel. Hold this value in relation to the total number of disk drives visible in the browse window (drives installed in your computer or mapped from the network).
- Use Recycle Bin when deleting files. - This option controls the way BitKinex removes files and directories.
- Preserve file update times - Turn this option on if you wish to preserve file update times by all transfers running on this data source.
- Monitor directory changes - By default, BitKinex monitors file and directory changes caused by other applications (e.g. Windows Explorer) and updates the content of browse windows automatically. Turn this option off if you encounter performace degradation.
- Resume transfers - Turn this option on if you want to allow the resumption of broken transfers on the local computer.
- Use the Windows Explorer context menu by default - BitKinex will display the standard Windows Explorer context menu in the browse window when this option is on.
- Post-transfer data integrity checks - Selected checks are performed upon the completion of each particular file transfer to ensure that the destination file is identical to the one being transferred. Automatic corrective measures will be taken to ensure that all existing problems are resolved, including retransfer of all relevant files.
