Signals can be used to create and control complex tasks which are composed of multiple requests. Each request or request group can be started, paused, resumed or cancelled on a specific signal. Furthermore, each request can send a signal whenever it has been (re)started, paused, resumed, cancelled or processed. Using this functionality you can create request chains where one request starts automatically upon termination of another request. For more advanced scenarios you can even use the command line interface to send signals from external applications.
