BitKinex FTP, SFTP and WebDAV client

Hi. I wrote to support but I never received a reply. I'm starting with BitKinex and I'm now using it as an Ftp client: no hacking, no WebDAV, only FtpProbably this is not a BitKinex issue but I'm missing something: when I download a file to edit it or it is not editable or changes can't be saved because it is marked as read-only. To edit files I use Netbeans. Itried to change permissions but always I got one of these two results. Where I'm wrong?
